Letter to Alumnae
I would like to start by saying how thankful the Alpha Lambda chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi is for our alumnae. Alpha Lambda would not be what it is today without the strong women who spent their time at Georgia Southern University dedicated to the values of Alpha Omicron Pi before us.
Being a member of Alpha Omicron Pi is not limited to your time in college, for there are countless ways to stay involved with over 150 alumnae chapters across the United States and Canada. If there is not an alumnae chapter near you, you may choose to join the International Alumnae Association. You may also become a chapter advisor to stay connected and help younger sisters through some of the most important years of their life.
Alumnae are always encouraged and welcomed to attend any event Alpha Lambda holds, whether it be the Red Rose Ball or philanthropy events. Our active sisters are eager to meet the women who helped form and transform our chapter. As an alumna, your opportunities are endless, your lifetime commitment to Alpha Omicron Pi is just beginning.
Finally, we ask for your growing and continued support for the Alpha Lambda chapter so we may continue the legacy you have helped build as well as help hundreds of young women that will come after us find their home in Alpha Omicron Pi. Remember, it’s not four years, but for life!
